Geordie Yorkshire Bitter

-- SimonDay - 23 Jun 2006

A midrange/budget kit. Not bad on the whole but it has a few more aditives in the ingrediants than I would prefer - also throws up a lot of scum on the top of the yeast so be sure to pat that off.

Standard BeerInACanMethod for making it - 1Kg GlucoseBrewingSugar

Rather good on the taste - only has a very slight "sulphorous" (as my wife describes it) taste that can charactorise yorkshire bitters does deffinatly taste like a northen brew to me. Very good head formation - average head retention.

Not bad at all for the price

8/10
