Vina Traditional Best Bitter

A very cheap beer kit - and you can tell when you read the instructinos - makes either 3 gallons strong beer (with 1Kg of GlucoseBrewingSugar) or 5 gallons mild (with 1.5Kg of GlucoseBrewingSugar)

Standard BeerInACanMethod for making it.

I opted for the 5 gallon - came out quite nice to be honest - forgot to read the gravity at the start but I'd say a 5%-6% mild bitter quite smooth to drink.

This being my first attempt the bottles go opened quite quickly - only about 8 days in the bottle - had a slight after taste when drinking at first - this mellowed out after a week and was a very nice - if slightly weak on the taste (as in much like most canned beer in the shops rather than a real ale)

Poor head formation, poor head retention - southern style brew

7/10
